Jensen Surfboards ???

I have a old 9’-9" Paulsen surfboard from Seaside OR. from the late 50’s to early 60’s.

Someone told me that Jensen (I don’t know his full name.)came up from Cal. in the late 50’s and shaped about 15 boards for a guy named Jensen who wanted to open a surfshop in Seaside. Is Jensen still alive? Do they have a web site. And does anyone know how to get ahold of Bill Fackrell how ran the Raven Surfshop in Seaside ?

It’s a great board and I would love to find out some history on the board.

Thanks Jason Howard PEEL Surfboards Tacoma Wa.

Hi, Jensen came up to Seaside Oregon about 1965. And shaped under the logo Jensen Surfboards. He died two or three years ago.A friend still has his Jensen.Paulson boards were made around about the same time.I’m not sure Bob shaped those to. I think Bill is still in the seaside area. But I lost this number. You might try Lanny Shuler ,Shuler Surfboards. Gordon

Hi Gordon,

I’ll call Lanny and see what he has to say.

Dennis (the owner of S.S.S. in Seaside) wants the Paulsen and I’ve heard all these stories about the board so I was just trying to clear some things up.

Thanks for the help.

By chance is it the one with the radio station logo on it. One Paulson was used as a prize give a way for the local station. Say hi to Dennis for me. Gordon
