john you ride a few different skip frye’s doncha? do you ride any of his big boys? 10’ 11’ 12’? what are your thoughts on them? what type waves do ya ridem in? have you ever riden a fishsimmons? have any idea what sorta waves they are designed for? thanks in advance fried

john you ride a few different skip frye’s doncha? - Yes, I have two nearly identical 10 footers. One is a little thicker in the rear rail and has offset stringers. do you ride any of his big boys? 10’ 11’ 12’? - See above. what are your thoughts on them? - Nice blend of old and new. From the middle up, they remind me of a Phil Edwards Hobie, mid to back they have dome decks, slight vee, hard down rails. what type waves do ya ridem in? - A little bit of everything - from knee high to double overhead with some fin swaps. have you ever riden a fishsimmons? - No, but the photos I’ve seen look intriguing. have any idea what sorta waves they are designed for? - My guess? Small to medium size waves. Wide tail for better planing, swallow and extra fins for added control in steeper waves - probably a good compromise? thanks in advance - You’re welcome. E-Mail with any specifics and I’ll do my best. fried
