Check out my third shaping experience, a 6’6" x 18 1/2 x 2 3/8 semi gun.
Looks great mate,
I’m doing a board with similar dimensions for a mate this week…
Get a spray of some colour on there and that’ll be hot!

Nice outline! Beware of shadows when shooting the photos…
Thanks, yeah, i tweeked the photo to make it more extreme (artsy), it looks like there is a big chunk in the left side, but it is very clean and symetrical i assure you.
Loving the outline… looks like its going to be a nice board indeed.
What foam is that? and whats the glassing schedule? looks like a nice board… probobly do something similar for when I go home to maui for the summer
This is actually a clark blank. Made from a 6’9" R. Our local shop just got there last shipment of blanks from clark maybe a week ago, pretty stoked about it. As for glassing, i haven’t really had a chance to try to glass on my own yet, for now i’m just shaping in my garage (although i did do a full conversion for the shaping room) so i’ll probably just send it to the guy that glasses for progressive (Dave Johnson) since i’m in Santa Barbara. I used Clyde Beatty Jr. for my first two boards and i’m interested in trying someone new. My buddy just got some boards glassed through dave and they’re pretty sweet. I picked up to of these blanks so i’ll keep ya’ll posted on #4.

Nice looking shape!
You gotta try glassing one of your own too… There’s just something about riding a board that you did entirely yourself…
Biz,
That board is looking good. I’m currently glassing a similar shape. What fin set-up and placement are you planning ?
Hey vern, i’m thinking about going for just a standard tri set up with fcs or similar. I’m just going to leave it up to the glasser to mark the fins for me i think.
