I’m going to attend the party on Kauai. I will rent a condo and wondered if anyone would be interested in sharing a place to stay. I haven’t worked out all the details,but would like to know what’s up before I commit. I need to know soon. I’ve got a line on one for about 110 bucks a day. I plan on renting it from the 21 thur 25. I’m a semi old man who doesn’t party much and likes to surf breaks that don’t involve near death experiences. I really don’t care if you come and go on your own or whatever. Way to go Tuna!When you get there look up Kokua and shake his hand for me.Maybe he can show you how to do decent pinlines.You Hawaii guys take care of old Tuna and lend him a beginner board with no sharp edges and some of them rubber soft fins…Make sure he only surfs where there are lifeguards. RB
I talked to Sherry Brewer via email and she has a place up the hill from Princeville by the ranch, and a condo at the beach. I’m waiting for a rely to my question…“what beach?” I am going to take one or the other…I don’t really know how close these are to where things are going to happen. maybe someone will enlighten me…I would bring Cleanlines along but I don’t want to be emptying his colostomy bag for 5 days!
Hey Tuna - things will be happening mostly north and east sides (with some trips afield for extra surfing) so probably either of those places would work fine. I find Princeville to be a bit yuppie but that’s just me…

Keith, I’m with you on the Princeville yuppy thing. I took the place up the hill to try and avoid the condo thing. She said it was about 10 minutes down the hill to get to Hanalei. I think Dick Brewer owns it.
Yup, that’s what I figured. Maybe he leaves a few balsa guns in the closet, ha ha! Have to check it out looking for “hideaways”…
