hi everyone… i am going to kauai this summer… i ve surfed for 35 yrs, and ride a long board… does anyone know of a shop that rents 10 foot or bigger boards… i am talkin surfboards here, not sponges. thanks

There was a surfboard shop that had rentals in Hanalei on the North shore a couple of years back. I believe it’s still there.
North or South Shore?
A trip to Kauai, especially by a Swaylockian, would not be complete without a visit with Ambrose. He has a vast repository of surf equiptment and local knowledge…so I am sure your requirements could be met.

Howzit sadony, Definitrly check out Ambrose first. If you are coming during the summer you will be surfing the South and west side most likely since the north side will probably be flat. If you are staying at a hotel then they will be able to direct you to a rental svc. You can also check Progressive Expresions in Koloa or any other surf shop on that side. Aloha,Kokua
