Have had luck on priceline for cars there ~ $12.00 / day + tax. I think you’ll find out that vans are illegal on K.

I looked a couple of “low price” sites, but the $ went up fast.
You can rent a mini van from the car rentals and sleep in the back, but it’s pricey. Maybe you could make a deal since you plan to be there a long time. I seriously doubt you can find a mini van for less than $40 - $50 a day. Car will be at least $20 - $30. Gas is probably about $4.25 or more. I think Enterprise has the best deals here on Oahu for longer term rentals.
You need to find someone who lives there and see if there’s a local connection to get better deals, but a month is a long time. Good luck.

Thankfully years ago Ambose hooked me up with a local connection who is still in business.
Still working on my cheap ass master tendancies, so I thought I’d see if there was anything else/better out there. As it is, I made the same connection… Fingers crossed for the van, and tunes… Plus some south bumps…
