Keels for first Simmons

Getting ready to shape my first board (Mini Simmons 5'6 x 22.75 x 2.75) and I need some wisdom on twin fins for it (I don't want to make my own for the first go-around). I already searched the forum but couldn't find anything specific enough. I am puzzled by the variation in length, depth and foil that shapers seem to use on these boards and want to know how these factor in to the performance characteristics of this unique design. I don't have a lot of experience with twin keels and am coming from more of a longboard mentality (single finner but more progressive than traditional style) so I want a lot of glide and drive but with responsive turning. Mainly surfing US east coast waves so fins need to work for really small, messy and/or mushy days as well as the occasional big swell (or travel). Planning on doing glass-on so I really want to get them right!

Here's my short-list:
From TrueAmes.com
Hobie Fish 7.25" x 5.25" single foil
Tyler Warren Bar of Soap 10" x 4.6"  80/20 foil
Gephart 7.87" x 4.75"  ??? foil
from Foamez.com
Simmons keel 8.875" x 4.5" double foil
Plywood keel 8.25" x 5.125" single foil

In your expert opinion which should I choose and why?
 Thanks for the help!

The Gephart’s are double foiled. My favorite and he’s been making them a long time and have an excellent track record. I like the template on the Hobie fins, but have never used them.  I’m not familiar with Foamez’s fins.  I like the look of the template on the Tyler W. keels for fish and think he’s a really talented kid, but find his whole trip a little too fadish. Honestly, I think you should make your own.  Just my opinion and not ‘expert’ opinion. Mike
