Keeping the bay warm

Boards are shaped, supplies are all set and ready to go. I was going to glass in a shed outside my home but the weather in Wisconsin has quickly turned cooler. I’d like to start glassing in my shaping bay but I am afraid the room is not warm enough. Any recommendations for insulation, heaters, and vents? I have two windows that open to the outside. Fumes will also be any issue since I am mainly working with poly resin. Any tips would be appreciated.

No open flames.  Use sun cure.  Sometimes if I want to warm up my resin I’ll stick it in my car, roll up the windows for an hour or so.  So it spreads and saturates the cloth.  Wear a mask for the fumes. Mike

Good tips Rooster!

I used to use catalyzed low VOC poly. 5x10 foot room off garage, winter, preheated to 70 degrees along with resin, cloth, and blank. Non-sparking, non-glowing, non-circulating heater while resin is mixed, applied, and curing. Always used a proper organic vapor mask. Sorrels not included…

I have since switched to epoxy so I can glass in the basement.

Think I finally got enough points to comment on posts. Thanks for the advice guys! Luckily it’s been warm enough that I can glass without a heater (yet).
