Borrowing just a wee bit from jeffshapers post. I wonder if we will see Kelly doing more “experimenting” in contests in the upcoming year. I think it would be fantastic to see Kelly riding and validating more shapes that are not of the “generic” shortboard variety. After all, does he really have anything to lose by not trying something different apart from a tenth world title?
