I’ll be shooting a gloss myself today. 9’-20oz.gloss resin,15% styrene,25cc mekp, 80-85 degrees. I can’t say as to sanding until after it’s done then I will decide on sanding. I like to wait til about 5pm, when it cools down a bit to do glossing, but before the insects come out. Good luck on your end. Kokua
thanks kokua…what happens if it takes longer to set? i believe that too hot, then you will get an orange peel effect?? just want to make sure i get this right.

The weather being to hot will cause orange peel. This happens because the temperture of the board it self is to hot. I’ve been known to wet the roof(tin) to cool down my shop enough to gloss. But better to wait for cooler part of day ie: morning or evening. I always use 25cc mekp. Kokua
