Lam resin leash cup

My high ass used laminating resin instead of surfacing resin while installing the leash cup. Any advice on how to make her sand flush?

Hotcoat whatever you did then sand it flush.

Huh? …

Who uses sanding resin to install leash plugs???

Just sand it flush.

I have been using lam resin for my leash plugs for years, rightly or wrongly I believe it to be stronger than sanding resin.

Skim the surface to make it sandable, do it with an orbital if neccessary, if you are touching the weave re hotcoat the area before it needs another layer of fiberglass. I do a cheater coat in that area, you can sand it easy without problems.

Fricken auto correct

Hey lung half full is your leash cup half empty or half full?

Nice tip aqua! I have never had a problem with lam resin I always hit the plug with a heavy grit disk before sanding. Lately I have been using the under glass leash plugs and installing them when doing the deck lam and enjoying one less step

The bong is definitely half full
