What are the pro’s and con’s of using a foam roller for laminating with epoxy? I notice a lot epoxy suppliers sell them. Thank in advance
I think the rollers are used extensivly in the boat industry both with polyester and epoxy. That’s more then likely the reason for the shop having them. My guess is that the larger sourfaces on boats are better off with a roller, while the shorter curves of a surfboard are easier to work with a squeegee. But give it a shot if you feel like it and let us know how it turns out. regards, Håvard
