lance carson powerglide

I was wondering what people think of this board- I would love some reviews-thanks

I worked with Lance designing the Powerglide nose rider. He has since made it one of his high end boards. Right now Lance Carson is hand shaping the boards himself, and Tyler is doing the glassing. This means you will not only get a very good hand shaped board from one of the best, but the glassing will be top end also. The board was design to ride knee high to chest high waves. Lance was very supprized to hear back from me that my son and I had our Powerglides out in waves that were well over head and we both had a ball. So in good, clean, lined up, Point and Reef surf you can make the waves and enjoy a nose ride on a good size wave. The board is going to be pricey so if you do not want to pay that much for a board ask Lance about the Parallel banana nose rider, you can get the same design without laying out the big bucks. Lance’s phone number can be gotten off his web site, if you give him a call tell him you talked to Al. You will not save any money that way but at least Lance knows I’m thinking about him.

thanks for the input- how ya think she’ll work in small clean(knee-waist) east coast beach break? other than that i’ll be riding my fish

friend -who is a childhood buddy of lance’s - and his teenage daughter have “regular” longboards lance made them.they have surfed them in good sized surf in hawaii-one swell an honest 12-15" (she didn’t surf that day) my friend said it was a little sketchy with tail sliding at that size but he did it.(took a couple of beatings by some waves as well)

smoothie,

I rode my 9’6" Powerglide in knee high conditions on East Coast beach break just a couple weeknds ago. I take it out out when it is chest or smaller and it works like a charm. An awesome board from an awesome shaper. Get your hands on one if you can.
