LAP EXTREME FOAM ANY SIZE ANY ROCKER 1 YEAR WARRANTY ON PRESSER DENTS

LAP EXTREME FOAM

The newest technology in surfboard foam

AFTER 8years or R&D LAP EXTREME NEW FOAM BLANKS

This foam has more flex than any foam,it can be used with epoxy or polyester ,it has no voc’s and is the only 100% eviro friendly foam their is… no t.d.i, m.d.i ,pentane or butane gases you wont get sick or die from shaping it ,the foam has a 1 year warranty on pressure dents,

It will out last and out surf any board you have .

because of the high amount of flex and rebound of the foam you can design your own flex patterns in your surfboards designs, with out the foam breaking.

You can use less tail rocker so you have a faster board down the line and because of the flex & rebound of the boards you can turn sharper and carry more speed out of your turns do bigger airs(with no deck dents) and make the sections that you would not make on a reg. surfboard

we can make any size and any rocker you can dream up …

we can also preshape your board on our (kkl) cnc shaping machine

we can custom scan and shape your designs or you can use one of our many preshapes at a low cost to save you time and money

we can also cnc shape poly-u or eps foam

and soon we will be doing glassing with our newly design 6 oz high strength high impact cloths 3 times the strength and less weight than reg. surfboard colth

which means stronger boards lighter weight that surf better than anything you can dream of

no more limitations… make your next board with lap foam cores…

I might be interested if your web site had anything on it. Your product sounds interesting and I’d like to see something…HINT… HINT.

still working on web site our web guy is slow

If the foam does not pressure how does it flex?

IT HAS TEN TIMES THE FLEX OF ANY OTHER FOAM WE TEST IT BY TAKING A 2X2"X2’ PIECE OF FOAM AND WE CAN BEND IT OVER 90 DEGREE BEFORE FAILURE AND IT HAS 100% MEMORY SO THE BOARDS KEEP THEIR FLEX FOR THE LIFE OF THE BOARD

Thanks for reply Richard. Next question - if the foam has memory won’t a pressure ding cause a de-lamintion as the foam want’s to pop back up?

no it wont because the the bond of the resin/glass to foam is so much stronger so far we have not had 1 delam so far and i have some boards that are 8 years old and the foam i made back then is not as good as the foam is now and we just got a new formalation that ishould be even better

Hello Richard, your blanks sound very interesting, and I would like to hear more specifics about them. Typical dimensions, types of blanks being offered, densities, price, etc… I checked out your website, but it wasn’t very fulfilling.

So whats the deal man? IS this foam available now? What are the prices? DO you have a variety of densities? Can you CNC cut custom blanks? Sounds like a very good alternative to pu/poly or even EPS/ epoxy but there are still things that can be done with a sandwich board you can’t do with hand lay ups…If I could get lightweight foam to use as a core I would be sold. I’m assuming it is even density through out the blank and it can be hot wire cut, is this correct? Sorry about asking a million questions but you don’t provide enough information for consumers who are ready to buy. Thanks and good luck with your company. P.S. Is this foam a type of EPP?

THIS FOAM IS AVAILABLE NOW prices start at $75 FOR A 6’7"R WE HAVE ALMOST ANY ROCKER THAT CLARK HAD MOST PEOPLE ARE USING OUR 6’7"H WHICH WILL COVER ALLMOST ANY BLANK UP TO A 6’7" BECAUSE OF THE THICKER TIP AND TAIL …

YES WE CAN CNC CUT CUSTOM BLANKS AND WE ARE ONE OF THE FEW PEOPLE WHO HAVE A LAZOR SCANER

WE NOW HAVE A 1.8-1.9 AND A 2.1-2.3LB DENSITY IT DOSE NOT HOT WIRE VERY WELL IT HAS SUCH A HIGH MELT TEMP THAT THE HOT WIRE JUST MELTS IT BACK TOGETHER ,IT IS A BLEND OF A FEW PLASTICS

What’s the glassing schedule for your foam?

Is there any Pro surfers riding your boards?

What do you set the spindle speed of your cutter head?

13500?

10000?

Do you slow down your travel speed?

I may want to try one?

cutter head speed 10000 to 12000 i speed up my speed rate to 800 in per min timy paterson has drew ventura with one he says he love’s it even throw it was glass heavy 4/4–4/4 we used

6 bottom and 6 top it seems to work well boards come out 5.5 to 6 lb

Richard:

Thanks for the information. Drew Venture surfs with my nephew Dane Ward. H’es a good kid and surfs really well.

I’ll have to ask him how he likes it? I have 550 2.0 EPS Blanks with basswood stringers to get rid of. I thought more people would

want to go with the Epoxy technolgy? Lighter Stronger more alive. I have over 200 fish blanks. at $50.00 bucks a pop I thought they would sell like hot cakes.

Your foam project sounds interesting. Maybe in the next week or two I’ll come by and check it out?

Kind regards,

Michael Ward

Hey Richard:

Do you use any flexible laminating resins with your boards? What is the elongation of say Silmar Polester Resin? It does not stress fracture? Is this the stuff Nev is using?

yes we do we have flex additive that we use in our resin

no it is not the stuff that nev using we blend our own uv resins

the elongation of 249a is 1 the same as pane glass silmar /interplastics has some other resins out that are much better than the old 249a

HI Richard, Not sure if I like your foam. I saw two blanks at cdr Hawaii yesterday -they looked like two big boogie boards. I hear it is really hard to shape , they felt heavy (like the weight of three blanks.) . I think you may have a concept though if you could lighten them up a bit . Anyway good luck , I dont think the concept will be accepted by many shapers… Petey

hi petey if they look like boogie boards they were not my blanks my blanks would look like a epoxy foam blank but only a lot lighter 1.8 to 2.0 ppsf lighter than any foam on the market today …and stronger and a lot tougher than eps they are only hard to shape if you are not a very good shaper just like shaping eps foam some guys can shape it some can’t you do have to pre fill it like eps foam we have a new foam coming out this month that will be stiffer and you will not have to prefill

Whats epoxy foam? never heard of that stuff!

RichardL,

My brother runs an ad company that specializes in web design. According to him studies show that when a customer makes the effort to get to a web site but only finds “coming soon” banners, it will be 6 months before they check back in.

Your product sounds interesting. See you in 6 months.

could you please make a similar picture so we can compare? sorry, wasn’t strong enough for the 90 degree’s…
