ok, heres the problem… im doing my laps and then hotcoating, but when i come back to sand ill hit the cloth on the laps but not on the deck or bottom of the board eventually having to go back and do a cheater coat to make the board presentable. how do you guys glass the board with nice laps so you dont have to do this and can just come out with a nice sanded finish??? ANY input would be AWESOME!!! thanks guys Josh

ANY input would be AWESOME!!! thanks guys>>> Josh …You have to flatten the laps down as much as possible.Then prep your lap with a angle grinder or sanding block w/ white sand paper in 80 grit.Also baste a little lam resin over the lap,and lap edges. Herb thanks herb… i flatten my laps pretty good and its not just the end of the laps but the whole lap that i see when i sand. ill try it though and get back with you on that one. thanks so much!!!

Whit a sander use a thick soft pad for the rails. I use a 120 grid for the rails too start with. About 1000rpm
