Large volume sup build

Hi,   I’m building a large volume sup for a guy in the 330 lbs range. I’ve drawn this up in shape3d, can someone take a look and see if I’m on the right track.   Looking for max stability.                   Any help would be appreciated.    Thanks

Toe in on those fins looks a little extreme but I know nothing about and despise SUPS.

Have you considered a 2+1 instead of a twin? http://www.hulakai.com/shop/sup-boards/12-big-boy/

Maybe try the Shape Shack on Standupzone too: http://www.standupzone.com/forum/index.php/board,11.0.html

If it were me, I would definitely run a center fin box, 6-7" up from the tail side bites aimed even with the nose.  You might want to reduce the tail width a bit because with that flat of a rail profile, the board will be stable, but will be a beast to turn. Also, I would do a displacement type hull with a fairly strong belly in the nose to flat mid section with a 1/4" or more V in the tail.  At least that’s what I would probably do…

Thanks a bunch, I appreciate the input.

Go with a 2+1 fin setup. The board will be plenty stable however with the tail that wide it will be very hard to turn. More rocker in the tail would help however more rocker in a big SUP starts affecting the paddling. I’d pull the tail in a bit. 35" is really wide btw!
