I have ridden many classic keel fish by mabile but i am looking at a used “magic carpet” keel by larmo-It looks a little racier than the classic with a slightly more pulled in nose. Does anyone have any experience with both boards to give descriptions as to how they differ- any help is appreciated!! Any reviews of his magic carpet would be helpful too!!
With great trepidation, I paddled out my new larry mabile fish. My heart was aching to feel the pureness of her glide, feeling its way along the peeling wall. To feel it, the oneness, the beat of the swell, the twang of the keels. To be left, breathless. Wantless. Til it was done.
Do I get a job???
“It was a Dark and stormy night. Rain fell into my Whiskey glass, dampening my spirits.”
Now thats professional writing
Haha classic artz!!!. Where’d that post go??
Hah! No Beerie, you don’t get the job. Larry Mabile is a proper noun and requires upper case letters. Til has 2 LL’s. Sorry. Teach 2nd grade and can’t let it slide. C-. Rewrite for credit…Mike
Till…to plow the ground, to turn over the soil.
'til…contraction of ‘‘until.’’
Note to BEERFAN, keels don’t twang.
Ah. A contraction. That works. Needs the apostrophe for clarification. “Keels don’t twang.” That’s for sure! Not any I have ever used. I guess I should give much more latitude for poetic expression, though. Keep work’n the prose, Beerie! Mike
