My friends are starting a new surf magizine based in Hawaii. 
 
Its called Trim.

I contributed to the blackshorts film project

got a nice photo

no movie yet as far as I can tell

losing faith in kickstarter (hotwatch/spike keyboard) etc etc

reminds me of the fishnet fanatics at every stop light here

The word TRIM has too many other meanings. Just doesn’t say surfing magazine to me.

And for that reason I am out.

 

Also, serious question. Do any folk here actually buy/subscribe to surfing magazines??? I bought my last one in 1995 on the way to my deployment in asia.

Only because Surfer is free when you are a member of the Eastern Surfing Association.

I get The Surfers Journal 

Every once in a while I pick up a few sold surf Mags from the local Libery book store. at .50 cents sometimes that will sell a bundle of 4 for $1.00.

Surf rags are now nothing more then a means to advertise clothing to kids that want to look like they are cool surfers or something. Now if only I could remember where I put my G and S tee, Pendleton shirt , white Levis and Huarache sandals?
