Liddle Hull + Greenough Paddle

Have any of you Liddle Leaguers tried the greenough paddle on a hull? What were your impressions good and bad? Never used the greenough fin but wondering how it’ll go on a 7’8 narrow template hull.

Tried an 8.5 incher on a 7’6" Inbetweener…works but not nearly as well as a 8.5" Liddle flex fin. Very directional and lacks drive from a forward stance. Wants to be turned from the tail. The paddle works great with harder rails and shorter lengths…My edge bottom Pescado loves the paddle as a single in bigger waves.

I have tried all sizes and Lee V is right they just dont work very well on Liddle hulls.Bob Duncan at Wilderness has some nice boards that he has worked out with the paddle fins. My best results have been on Yaterspoon type longboards.

my experience mirrors what Lee and Kp said.i have tried different fins in Liddle hulls-they work, but not like the fins he provides.his hull and fins are really tuned in and work in total harmony together providing optimum performance.i have even used identical fin template with a rounded, leading edge foil.turns easier but overall just isn’t the same.
