Maybe there is nothing more to learn?

[/quote]

Possibly true, but there is much to understand.

Everybody understands and uses information differently. That is why there is 100 differnet ways to build a house or shape a surfboard. Everybody has their own point of view. Since the book has already been used to infulence surfboard design, it is set up higher on the pedestal. Technology has come a long way but more can be learned from history and another point of view.

I'm not here to incur violations, I can say I remember sharing a beer, helping someone with a flat tire/tyre and picking up a hitchhiker, borrowing a gas can... those good things. Yeah we know everything, it's the digital age - where we understand how to separate ourselves from the greatness of our past......

Aloha guys and gals and bots(?) Surfs coming in later this mid afternoon at around 13 secs, then should build to around 15-20ft@17 or 18 seconds by Sun/Mon. I'm hobbling down to the beach around noon or one. I'll have 'ol-yeller', the speed egg with no leash plug, with me just in case my back will let me sneak a few clean ones in before the swell pounds everything till frothing white with that rumbly roar.

I'm not curious now, thanks.

janklow just let me know there was a problem with the link on my site – sorry to everyone who was inconvenienced

Was able to restore access to the full zipfile containing everything I originally received, so if anyone still would like a copy, go to:

http://e-j-m.com/lord-book.html

and click the link at the bottom of the page to download the zipfile (it’s fairly large; about 38 MB).

If anyone has any issues, please let me know

Thank you.

I had got it off the backup location – I printed it off and bound it.

There are some very interesting things there, and funny too, if youre a Sways type.

Lift, Suction, Release.

I am an engineer and I love all of those words. Thank you very much!

Thanks for the link, I was printing it but can’t seem to find chapters: 7,8,11 and 12 in th file. By any chance do you know where I can find them?

It’s possible they were not in the original scan.  I recall some chapters were omitted by the scanner (I didn’t do the scanning, just providing backup).  If you search the archives, you’ll find the person who did the scan, and in their post, they might even state which chapters were left out.

Howdy Surffoils - Thanks for the link - when I downloaded it I noticed that some of the chapters were missing - namely 7,8,11,12.

Is there another link with the missing chapters?

Cheers
