Stumbled on this on Facebook and thought I’d re-post it here. You can download a PDF template for a 4’7" Lis Fish from an original Lis template.
Thanks for sharing the article! FYI - shaping and designing my own Fish board right now that’s half my own template, half something else. I can’t say what type mine is, but it’s a cross between several design’s.
About Fish boards:
They seem pretty stable, they turn ok, and they are generally anyw from 5’3" up to around six foot. They are kinda cool bcuz you can almost side slip down a wave and not lose control - bcuz you got two fins holding you in…atleast that’s my take. There are bigger and smaller version’s of fish tailed designs but they can be good fun regardless of size I suppose? I owned a six four fish - which at the time I didn’t think was huge. But apparently it is to the general fish experts. I’m in agreement that to get the real feel of a fish board, you have to try the shortest version you’re able to ride for your height. So if your psb is a six ten - you’d get a six two fish. Or get it 8" shorter than your psb. The longer versions tend to be less funcional the longer you go.
