Logo/Decal

I have started to get my stuff together to shape my own board- first attempt but I will have someone to help me that has some experience,  I would like to try and make it look as professional as possible by putting my own logo on it, I have found some special decal ‘paper’ on the interweb that I will buy and it says just use an inkjet printer to make your logo and then glass it into the board,  Will I need to use special ink?  When I have printed documents etc on normal  paper the ink tends to run really badly if i spill something on it or handle the paper with wet hands, surely the same would happen with resin? Or not?

Keep your inkjet printer settings on ‘normal’ quality (NOT BEST). Too much ink will bleed when laminating.

…hello, regarding this: " I would like to try and make it look as professional as possible…" my advice is not to use the computer printer.

The professional logotype lams are made from silckscreen it on the paper.

then, there are 2 ways to do them; with water tints

and the best and most professional, with nitro tints

Some name the seda paper (like the rolled cigarette paper) rice paper, so be careful what type of rice paper you get.

Remember, the home made inkjet lams do not look pro as the others.

Thanks for the replies,  I actually tried to search before asking but as I didn’t know that the type of paper used was called rice paper the search didnt return what i was looking for.

 Thanks again,
