I thought I would bring this out onto the public forum....The board in my avatar is 9' 3 1/2" x 23 1/2" x 3 1/8". The outline was taken off of an Island Influence Surfboard. Eddie shapes the Island Influence boards. If you ever surf in Carlsbad, Ca. you will see his longboards. It's not an exact copy but it is his outline. The blank is EPS foam with a bamboo stringer. I got the blank in a trade with SenergyTodd. Bamboo is too hard to work with for a stringer. Resinhead told me the blank was more suited for a gun....
So here's some numbers.
Nose rocker 5 7/8"
tail rocker 3 3/4"
width 12" from nose 18 3/8"
width 12" from tail 14 5/8"
fin box 6" from tail
Everything on this board is extreme. Thick in the middle, thin out on the edges. Pinched 50/50 rails. Rolled bottom. No nose concave but a slight concave through the nose rocker apex. Slight V out the back. There are no sharp edges anywhere on this board. The board rides great but for me it's a little too wide and has too much nose rocker....Live and learn...let me know if you have any more questions
