Long hair

My friend has very fast growing hair, so he often has a pony tail. One day I saw him with short hair and asked him about it. He told me that in the winter he usually cuts it short. He said he was surfing the north shore and ended up getting held under quite long. When he finally got to the surface to take a breath, he got a mouth full of hair and water, then he was nailed by another wave. He said he almost drowned that day. Ever since then he lets his hair grow in the summer but keeps it shorter in the winter.

Once opon a time, I had hair, and it was getting longer, as boards were getting shorter:

Now, gravity has sung its old, old song, the fur is now on the back, like Silverback’s. That’s actually a plus, keeps ya warm in the winter.

But the sad thing is…make that pathetic… is that when I stick my now shiny, somewhat lumpy dome through a wave, I twist it up and back, getting that wet hair out of my eyes.

'Course, the hair is only in my imagination now.

Maybe I’m getting old after all…

doc…

This guy’s got the mullet and back hair rockin’…

Just let it go Wouter.

attatching hair to the bottom of a surfboard would :

reduce drag when wet?

stop spinouts?

eliminate need for stiff fins?

smoothe out your style?

on the deck :

eliminate the need for wax?

dampen the acoustic resonant slap of passing chop?

attract other fur bearing ocean creatures?

seals go fast in the water and downhill on land ,

dont need wax to stand on,dont spin out,

have flexible fins, their voices only echo in caves,

and are very attractive to everryone they meat.

…ambrose…

when we start harvesting seals

we should make a seal skin board

with the fur on.

hair good.

surfboard with hair better.

you heard it here first.

Monty - I wish I hadn’t checked this while eating lunch. GROSS, is the a person or a yeti? some sort of industrial acident? maybe he/she fell head first into a barrel of resin??? surely its time to get a hair cut.

You may be on to something there Ambrose. One possibility to make this happen would be the “Chia Surfboard.” If you patent the idea, I reserve the right to make one without payment due.

I think it doubles as a bodyboard!
