Any thoughts/comments on the following? 9’6" Long 14" tail (square) 17 3/4" nose 23" wide at widest point 2 7/8" Thick center I’'ll use the Clark Y blank w/ natural rocker and 6 oz glass,or maybe a layer of 6 oz. and 4oz., and a 10" fin. This would be a general all-around/all-purpose long-board for 6 foot/185lb’r at point breaks.

Hi Frank, I think you’re right in there with length, though 9’8’ may be better for you. Consider widening the nose an 1" or 1 1/2" and put a little concave in it. As to the tail-- maybe 3/4" wider with arounded pin and a small tail block would finish things out fine. I’m sure you have you reasons for the demensions you’ve chosen. I think you’ll be happer with the lines a little more full however. Make sure you dive it enough tail rocker in it. It’s a very important part of long board construction. Good luck. Best, Rich
