Longboard snap...

I snapped my epoxy/eps longboard the other day(@#$%%^&*…) I guess after the closeout kickout the board got left behind and belly up…getting snapped by the lip. It broke in about the center of it ,the deck break was clean but the bottom lam peeled from the center towards the nose (almost rail to rail) stopping about a foot short of the tip(the tail end has no peel ). Now to the question : how do I…or do I need to prep the bottom foam,it is bare. Lightly sand or can I just wipe it down and start the repair? It has concaves/channels in the nose so I really want to stay away from sanding prep if possible. I know I will have to lap the rails but wonder about having to mess with the already bare foam. Thanks…
