looking for a article about balance. Rusty P perhaps?

Please dont be too abusive.  I’ve searched and I’ve advanced searched but can’t seem to find an article written by rusty ( i think)  that was posted here not too long ago.  Pretty sure i was reading at 2 am- that would be my excuse.

It explained in detail atributes of balance- and what makes a board front vs neutral vs rear foot oriented.

I’ve searched Rusty’s blog posts as well, but like I said I’m not even sure he wrote it.

Its something I’m dying to revisit so I’d really appreciate it if someone could re-post.

Cheers

Greg did a really good one on “pitch” and “profiles” too…

Is it possibly in some of this?

THanks everyone.  The Loehr piece is pretty great.  Still not what i’m looking for but maybe i was just dreaming.  Otis, great listing of cause and effect.  Certainly helps in balancing design aspects.  Most interested in #9.  I’m planning a mid length and I’m interesting in the affects of having the wide point behind center.  All of my other boards seem very front driven- fish, 2+1 egg, 2+1 short.  All have the wide point forward.  Certainly with 2 of those I have a lot of room for experimentation just with the fins.

No 9 on the list should probably be reversed.

When I first organized this from Loehrs writing I was looking for a little constructive feedback, that I didnt really get.

So its not the ‘Word of the Lord’ or anything.
