Looking for Mini Simmons in Hawaii

I have wanted one of these for years but am unaware of where I can get one in Honolulu, Hawaii.  Curious if anyone has one for sale, knows of one for sale, or knows of a shaper who can produce one.  I am aware that Surf Garage was brining them in a few years ago, but the asking retail price was in excess of $1,200+.  Sadly, that is out of my price range.

I have been cautioned by a few shapers and mini simmons owners that these are fairly technical boards and that if I were to head down to a shaper not experienced with mini simmons they would likely not be able to produce the real deal.  If anyone in the community can comment, direct, or advise I would be grateful.

Larry makes a really good version , i like the twinzer version the best

 

575 with hand foiled fiberglass fins , so add another 100 for shipping to the islands and you still have enough to go get an Arakawa for the good days :slight_smile:

If you get a mini def go twinzer. I fly on mine. Also I have a single to double concave with beveled rails. My shaper is Brian Wynn. But I’m in jersey. Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos</

Pinder on King St can shape you one , a while back he took all the dims from my friends “Bourges” (sorry about spelling) Mini Simms. Pinder makes nice boards and has reasonable prices , does everything shaping, glassing etc he is a one man show .
