I finally got the time to pull down an old Weber Performer from my rafters to restore and get rideable. They took a Wonderbolt fin which of course isn’t in it any longer. I heard that there’s a guy in Florida that makes reproductions. Anyone know his info?

Finding a fin, man!
Those fins where poly something, with a stainless bolt
which had holes so you could tighten it.
Basically an allenhead with the hex ground out to a female cone.
Your box should have a male type numb at the rear.
The box is a forerunner of the W.A.V.E. SET box
I believe Morey called it the F.A.R.T.
And the early ones are shorter
you just resined the poly fin in. Yater and Weber had them.
Only problem with both the early and “wonderbolt” was “pop”
no fin.
I have made my own W.A.V.E. SET fins out off fiberglass.
Maybe worth a try, only even with poly somethings
I never found my lost fins.
Best of luck…
The Wonderbolt style was used in Morey Pope boards just prior to Waveset being invented. They were also used by Con Surfboards, briefly. Morey’s original fin company was called TRAF, and his later venture was Tom Morey Skeg Works. All before joining forces with Karl Pope.
