Looking for Work in Sydney - Northern beaches

Hi All,

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, it’is the busiest, so I’m going for coverage

I’m looking for work (yeah I know it’s the wrong time for this industry - same as all of the others) in Sydney’s Northern beaches. I’m in Avalon, so main spots are Mona Vale, Narrabeen down to Brookvale.

Some background - been making my own boards (surf and sailboards) for over 2 decades, so I can pretty much do everything. I sanded professionally for 12 months out of high school down in Brookvale, also foiling 5-6 sets of fins a day (lost art) so I really know what I’m doing there.

I’ve used PU/PE - obviously, EPS, Vinyl ester, epoxy, carbon, kevlar, made 3 compsands and am about to make a few WMD boards

I’m not proud, so I’ll fix dings, laminate, sand polish etc, just need a income to get back on my feet.

I work smart and hard - so things get done

Give this boy a job!  If I were down under and had anything going on I would.   Seems ambitious, skilled and willing to do anything.  Lowel

BTW my skills list is a lot longer and much more diverse than what I’ve listed. 

So in case anyone browsing the forum isn’t in the surfboard industry but knows of some work going.

I’ve seen some remarkable craftsmen, not working in the industry, showing their workmanship in these forums, basically the sort of people I’d like ot be working with.

bottom line - I need a job
