Has anyone tried to do a lost foam board? I’m interested in what it would take to make the deck strong enough to resist catastrophic collapse. Some small amount of flex would be ok.
On a side note…anyone know what glass product I can use to beef up the hull of this thing. I have several layers of 6 ( I forget how many actually it’s been hanging there awhile) on it. It’s too flimsy on the large flat areas.

Inside the hull, lay down some long, narrow, half round strips of foam in the area of concern, and glass over them. This will add considerable stiffness, with nominal weight gain. The compound curves of the glass will resist flex in that area.
