I’m glassing it this weekend…kids permitting. I actually found the blank on a council clean-up pile. The outline had been cut but that’s about it. Here’s how it started life:
A little rough and a little wonky but it came up alright.

Josh I’ve got no idea on the fin yet. I’ve got a few singles lying around but I’d rather make something. Might have to hit Chippy up for a template or two. That break you mentioned is Sandshoes. It can get pretty epic at times but because the takeoff spot is about the size of a 20c piece it’s a little hectic. If you’re ever there in a decent size swell there’s a lefthander a few hundred metres to the south called Treachery. Needs a good size swell to break but there’s a pretty good chance you’ll get it to your self. The name suits the place.
No worries here Chip!!! Been surfing every morning and am still in one piece. I’ve got an exit strategy in place if things turn nasty…run to the sea…fast!!! We’ve brought in reinforcements just in case
If the Hoff can’t handle things then we’ve got someone even more deadly who’s just itchin’ to deliver one of his patented roundhouse kicks to wipe out the troublemakers
