What type of dust chute are you currently using on your planer??The man that has yours is pretty slack but he has good intentions. R.B.
Dear Sir, as per our conversation this morning(my time)(number of my calls, I’ve lost count), you said that you would send me the Skill 100 planer dust chute that you pictured with the other Skill parts, that you requested immeadiate payment of $1,100.00 for, back, whats it been, months now!! I have absolutely no idea what your are refering to, when you post that some other guy now has the chute that you have said repeatedly that you would get in the mail to me the next day. I left our conversation this morning as I have all of the other times that I have had to remind you to please send me the chute that you pictured, and that I paid you for, that ACCIDENTLY fell on your floor as you were packing the other parts that you sent me. What some other guy has to do with that part now, and what was in the picture that you sent me,that I have paid you for so long ago that I still do not have in my possession, is beyond me. What dust chute that I use on any of my other planers makes absolutely no difference in this matter.I respectfully request that you take the necessary steps to get the dust chute that you pictured, that I paid you for, so long ago, in a small box, and in the mail to me ASAP. I asked you again, this morning if you had the correct address here, and you said that you had it on one of our e-mails. If you have lost it again, e-mail me right away. Why you have chosen to bring this sore subject to Swaylocks, I’m sure that I’ll never understand, But, I do know that I’m way to busy to spend much more time playing this game. There should be the highest honor among craftsmen that have been in this business and paid our dues as long as we have. I have held up my end of our exchange to the letter. Please hold up yours. Tomorrow will not be to soon. Respectfully frustrated, Steve Brom
Jeeze Magic I was only kidding you.I put that up right after a friendly conversation I thought you might get a laugh over it.I sent you two 7.5 amp planers,a 7.5 amp motor, two extra full length bases and told you to just pay me when you got em.I just trusted you because you were a fellow shaper.I never asked for any monies up front…I just trusted you because you were on this site. Fortunately you were good for the money.I have sold skil planers to two other posters on this site and they were happy to have them for around 1/3 of what they go for on Ebay.So do you think I am going to steal a friggin dust chute???I will send this item that causes you so much consternation first thing tomorrow.Sorry that it slipped my mind…Maybe I should take my other Skil 7.5 amp planer in perfect condition and put it on ebay instead of offering it to a bro.Sorry to have upset you so much…have a nice day…R.B.
P.S. Magic…I was referring to myself when I talked about being slack. thanks R.B.
Moral of the story = DON’T FIDDLE AROUND WITH ANOTHER MAN’S CHUTE.
please post a picture of the money. Show me the money!
…but you can save that for the birds and bees…Herb
