I finally finished my experimental first board. Looks great… its a cross between a gun and a shortboard… like a really long short board. its 7’0" and has a pretty paint job (in my opinion… plz don’t disallusion me =O ). Thanks to all who helped with advice and stuff. Pics are attached. please comment on shape… I really need the comments considering it was my first.

The Japaneese symbol mean “Peace” / “Harmony” in chineese. the bottom is more of a weird experiment/theory of mine… is a V that splits to a double concave… got the idea after watching boats racing on a lake. the design is the same on the boats and siad to slice through water… I have intentions on taking his board with me to either australia or Hawaii in the next year or so, and last time I was at great barrier reef I remember not being able to paddle in on most of the waves. This board, if working correctly should solve that… if not ill just sand it down. I left enough extra material.
I got the paint idea from 2 sources… the basic shape reminder me of a fightr jet and also of a casino table… forgot name of game but the one with the alternating spikes on the board. Another word on the Chineese symbol. That symbol was what ancient chineese warriors would tatoo on themselves and their armor because it was thought that to be at harmony with yourself and nature you will become a much better warrior.
Its Me Shaper_guy… though I should change profile name to real name… more personal attention that way and people will remember it better than that generic name. plus I found a cool avatar.

When I said the Japaneese thing was peace or Harmony in chineese was in response to Hicksey saying it was a japaneese symbol. It was a failed attempt to correct a misperception. It should have read… The “Japanese Symbol” means “peace/harmony” in CHINEESE.
