Making Existing Template Larger?

The Les Fish at 5’5" is everywhere, along with digital width measurements. If I want to make a 5’10", can’t i just add 1/10 all the way around to the existing measurements? Like let’s say the original width of the 5’5" is 10.50. For the 5’10" fish, would I just add 1.10"? Making it 11.60" wide?

That depends. The 5’5" Lis Fish is a kneeboard design. Are you a kneeboarder or foot boarder? (Stand up Fish have slightly different outlines/wide points than kneeboard Fish.)

Try keeping the nose and tail measurement the same while increasing the width 1/4" for every 2" in length. A 5’10" would be 5/8" wider if the original template was 5’5".

Footboarder. Move the wide point back a little??

Yes, move the wide point back a bit. Kneeboards typically have their wide point forward of stand up boards (for example, the original Lis fish called for the wide point to be 2" forward of midpoint). As a consequence, you have to adjust the entire outline for a stand up board.
