I ran across a company a couple years ago in Australia turning out blanks in this swirled-marbled colored foam. They had a wild swirl pattern - kind of like a resin swirl - but actually in the foam and each one different.
Anyone seen these? I’m trying to find 'em again and can’t recall the name of the company or find them with any google searches so far…

“ocean foam” , I think they’re called …I posted a photo of Eli [my nephew] with one ages ago . Here , and at “Surfer” , from memory …
“Antsville” , or “thefish.exp” should know …they get their blanks from there , I think . [Victoria , Australia]

in can honestly say if i made urethane boards i would use this foam …
i know kane hes a top guy , ripping surfer , and loves what he does …
would love to see him here on sways …
his whole outlook is quality all the way …
couldnt say enough good things about the foam or him …

Well, I’m sold. I’ve already emailed to ask about their USA distributer. the link posted above for the old thread doesn’t work for me, so if anyone else has that info it would be appreciated. If not, I can wait to hear it from the horses mouth. I’m on hiatus from my board building hobby while I’m shopping for a house, but soon… And a couple of those blanks sitting in my workshop would be a hell of a motivator!

Since 2005, there’s a company based in Spain, TECHBLANKFOAM, that builds PU foam blanks.
Thy don’t offer it in their catalogue. At least, I can’t find them.
But I know they can build solid color and also swirl colored foam blanks, since you can see it in their promo pics.
