I've decided to give the surf craft building game away. It was never a buisiness for me, it was more of a hobby that provided me with some beer money. I built a nice set-up in my garage with shaping room, dust extraction glassing area etc etc. and seeing as I am only doing a handfull of boards a year, I've decided to make the space available for an other project on the cards, being the rebuild of an EH holden. (just have to find one) Non Aussie should google it. Very nice Aussie classic. I might even have some room left over for a man cave. You know, beer fridge, flat screen TV, couch etc etc.
I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone here on swaylocks who have helped me out over the years. The amount of usefull information available here is unbeleivable and it amazes me how so many people are willing to share their stories and experiences to help other is the surf community.
I will be keeping all of my gear and storing it (somewhere) so I can bust out a new board for myself every now and then so if anybody needs to borrow anything, they are quite welcome to it.
Dont think you guys have got rid of me completely. I will still be checking in on swaylocks now and then but probably not as often.
Hey Guys Thanks for all the kind words. Silly, Going to be hard to find one without rust. Not many around anymore. Entity, I might just take you up on that offer of using your bay. Shaw beats making a mess in my new, clean garage. It might be a while before I get any pics to show you too. Haven't even found a car yet and it will be a project to fiddle around with in my spare time. Sorry Dropkneesl, I'm not a charger guy. Also, I know what you guys are saying, I will never really leave it, I will probable be still fixing boards and I had a mate ask me for a board on the weekend. I told him he had better be quick. If any of you guys know of an EH for sale, be shaw to let me know wont you. Actually it doesnt have to be an EH. It could be anything from an EH or older but I would prefer an EH. Anyway, I dont want to go on too much. This is a surfboard forum after all. Cheers

cheers and thanks HEAPS for your contributions and feedback over the years !
I've been through a couple of stints without access to workshop space and come back double-strong obsessed. I think if I won lottery I'd make anything I ever wanted, boards, cars, whatever.
Wildy...yes, I did the biggest double-take ever when I spotted a Commodore in BKK. I think Holdens were imported on a small scale.
