If I am making a 5’6" or 5’5" and going off the dwart by rusty how far do those two wings go up? I know you want them to go near the tailing edge of the fins on a quad but about how fay up should the wings be and what are good measurement places up and away from the rail should a quad set up be placed? Thanks.
I’d suggest using the Mckee multifin data off their website to place your fins. http://www.mckeesurf.com/?page_id=267
I’m presuming you’re setting up as a quad or five fin option - when you’ve marked out your trailing edge from this data just rule off at 90 degrees from your stringer out to the rail from the trailing edge. That will give you the position of your wings.
I set the trailing edge of the front fins on these boards 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" from the rail (ignoring the tuck on the rail). The rear fin positions are detailed in the Mckee chart.
Cheers
