An accurate container for measuring / mixing resin is a thoroughly cleaned out quart sized plastic motor oil bottle…They have a translucent “window” on the edge that’s graduated in oz. and ml… I cut the top off and clean it out with lacquer thinner then wash it with detergent… With epoxy I can re-use one bottle for an entire board… Paul Jensen
And you can mix by shaking. More thourough. Great idea Paul. Thanks.
I use those cylindrical clear Tupperware kitchen things with a handle on the side, place it empty on digital scales and turn scales on.Scales then zero the weight of container and you can pour extremly accurately to the gram to get the perfect mix ratio of resin to hardener.I stir with long flat blade wooden spatula for 5 minutes : long and slow keeps aeration to a minimum.I love the precision of mixing and stirring of epoxy - polyester/MEKP seems a no-brainer thereafter !!!
