Heres a truly uninformed Q… I want to melt the foam out… Is there a chemical that melts clark blanks but wont hurt my glass? thanks lil D
- Why do yoy want to melt out the foam? 2. If it is to make a hollow board, forget it. (no strenght) 3. Polyurethane is a very inert composition and resists degradation by other chemicals. (hyrdochloric or sufphuric acids will work, too well)
actually its nothing as tech as a hollow board. Its just that I have a block of foam on my bench that I keep sticking glass scraps on which now have become pretty think. I tried to scoop out the foam with no avail. I just thought there might be some paint remover or stripper or someting that could melt the stuff out. Why I want to get the foam out I have yet to discover, but I think there will be a high “neat factor” involved if I can get this glass perfectly clear with no foam left inside. anyway, thanks for the responce, I know this is a lil off subject later lil D
