Having been away from this site for a while surfing the boards I have made with the great help of the site, it is refreshing to come back and see that the same characters are here arguing and expressing their opinions as before!
I remember how there were a lot of people holding their arses in their hands when Clark foam shut its doors for good a few short years back. I also remember a minority of people who spoke wise words about innovation, ingenuity and opportunity. In such a short period of time compsand, eps composite multilaminate, carbon/kevlar, ultralightweight boards are becoming the norm, new fin designs have arrived; vaccumn bagging and rocker beds are now not things that apply to the aged, or the mother-in-law! SUPs’ where a dirty word that were slagged off as something weird people rode, now everyone wants one and not just for surfing waves, but exploring waterways and lakes.
So, my sincere thanks to all on this forum for not making this a place of mediocrity, instead a place of ideas, help and welcoming to all.
Happy new year to all, may 2009 be prosperous!
Aloha, keep the stoke alive.
