I’m planning to shape a board for my girlfriend. She’s just starting, taking small waves sideway and pumping up and down. She is 5’8 (1.72 m) tall and weighs 150 lbs (68 kg). For now, she has a 7’8" 75L foam. She surfs and will surf soft summer waves of 1.2 m maximum.
I want to shape a board for the next few years.
I’m thinking of a 7’0, 21’1/2, 2’ 3/4
50L
2+1 fins.
For now, I’m only at the design stage.
With a single concave starting at 15in from the nose and fading at the rail fins front. And a double concave from the 32in from the tail to the single fin front. I doubt these dimensions and the concave depth (1/8in ?)
I also doubt the size of the rockers (3’ 1/8 nose and 2’ 3/16tail).
Could you please give me a comment on the project and an evaluation of the shape (Shape 3d file)?
