Midlenght, 1st Shape, Rocker Question

Hey Everyone

First time poster, been reading for a few years. Im located on Vancouver Island.

Im shaping my first board, ive settled on a 7’8" Mid Lenght. Ive attached a photo of the outline.

This board will be for 7’ + on a wally right that runs, but isnt overly steep. I want paddle power to get in early and set up, but i also want to be able to lay some tighter cutbacks.

What would be ideal front and back rocker?

What wouls be ideal rail shapes for the front, mid, and back of board?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks boy!

Hi @Kyle_Kingsley . I’m designing a mid length or hybrid board at the moment so in the past few weeks I’ve delved deep.
Check out the rocker curve on Arctic Foam 7’8" E blank. It comes with different profiles so you should be able to find one that suits your needs.

Read -Natural Curves Surfboards Design Topics on rockers and averything else. It’s gold!
