Have a modified hitachi that was supposed to be a custom order the customer flaked out on. This planer is fully modded but the slight difference is in the handle size where the trigger is. Normally they are about 1/8-3/16” taller, but she wanted one to fit her hands a bit better so I closed it, just that. I have big hands and can still fit my hand in there, but it’s a little tighter than I’d like for my shaping. If you have slightly smaller hands and need one of these, let me know. I can ship. Gotcha. You do a good job on those. I’ve two in storage on Maui that I will pick up in January’06. One is an original Clark. The other is brand new from Loews($59). New in the metal case. I’ve got the front shoe depth conversion. I scored some misc. parts at an estate sale of a shaper who passed away. When I get it I will consider having you do the complete planer if you are still doing them at that time.

Saw a Clark Foam original in good condition on Craig’s Santa Barbara. Sporting and then search “surfboard”. I think they wanted about $450.
