What if…We had a Surf Riding ‘Monster Garage’…>>> Where would it be???>>> What would the project be???>>> Who would be on the ‘team’???>>> What would be the ‘prize’??? Welllllll, I had my own Monster Garage episode this week. Can you take this 7’10" egg that has been brutally eaten by the shaping machine and make a 1969 round pin down railer from it? First, cut 4 1/2" of foam from the center, replace with leftover foam from a 10’1"Y and 2" of balsa. Re-glue to a 1969 Diffenderfer rocker and draw on that old Seasoned Surfboards template that I made up for Cleanlines in '69 and you have it. Home grown garage glass job.

Sounds like you had some fun.I remember that board, it was good for cranking bottom turns and speeding down the line. The rails were super sharp to the point of being dangerous…as I recall you couldn’t cut back on it so you had to do an Island pull out or just bail.I think it was stolen in Baja.
