This is a carry-over from an earlier board repaint email. I’m not a pro-shaper and i don’t have access to the two part epoxy clear cloat because (1) i have to buy it buy the case and (2) i don’t have a sprayer. I’m thinking of shooting it with the krylon clear coat over the higher quality spray paint. Am i asking for trouble? I tried to really rough up the surface of the board to accept the spray paint. Then I wet/dry sanded the spray paint to get rid of orange peel & make it look more even. Do you guys think the paint job with the non-catylized clear coat that i’m plannning on applying will last? The surfboard will of course flex. Will this quickly crack all the paint/clear coat? What do you think the life span is of this paint job? ~GL
