my additive F solidified

hello resin research users and greg loehr.

i bought th 1.5 gallon kit with a pint of add F last july. i used most of the resin throughout the year. lately when i pour the add F it has some congealed clumps in it. today it was mostly solid, but it liquified when i stirred and shook it. my resin had som congealed clumps at the bottom of the bottle too.

i don’t believe either where contaminated.

i did leave the three bottles of the kit in my shack for the last few weeks where they get some temperature change thru out the day, plus some indirect sunlight.

everything works when i mix it. but why is this happening and is it bad?

cheers, nicholas

Dunk it in a pan of hot water. It should come right back.

I was going to say try sticking in the sun.

what Benny says. Sometimes you get little floaties (on the way to becoming solid). Heat it up, using it with solids is asking for trouble.

Some epoxies will crystallize (like honey in the fridge) a warm water bath will bring it back.
