My first real noserider

Heyho!

Finally I decided to get me a custom longboard and I want it to be a traditional noserider, however adapted to my local waves. Normally I ride small, but fast breaking waves with offshore winds, as can be seen in the picture. I have a performance longboard with thruster setup (9’0"x 22"x 2 5/8") which works quite well in bigger days but however is not inviting to noseride. It fells more like a shortboard with extra paddle power. So i want to get a noserider (9’4" x min23"x min 3") to have even more paddle power and finally the possiblility to noseride.

Now i would like to know what design details are important for fast breaking small waves, because i want to be gliding down the line on the nose with style, while all shortboarders are just getting caught up by the curl and tget stuck in whitewater

Bottom concave on the nose or not? Flat bottom or belly? Sharp or round tail edges?

Thx for your advise :)

Mild 24" long nose concave.  Belly bottom, round tail edges.  Low entry rocker ( < 3"), kicked tail rocker ( > 3").
