I need some suggestions for fin placement on my new fish. I’m leaning towards going with a mark richards fcs fin. without the trailer my boards dim are
6’0 16.25x 22x 16.75 x 2.75
I have the butt crack on the fish at 5.5 inches and the span between the two tips is 11.5 inches.
My thinking was to place the fins at 1 1/4 of the rail at 8 inches up from the tail. with 1/8’’ of an inch toe in
Good idea or bad any suggestions would be appreciated
Josh, That sounds too far forward. I line mine up with the crack or around 6.5 inches up from the tip. Not familiar with your fins however. I have keels on all mine(except the quad). Mike
heres a pic of the fin and the dims on it. So I should bring it back to about 6.5’’ up from the tips, what about my other measurements as far as toe in and 1 1/4 off the rail. Also should i use 4 degree cant or 5 degree. It’s a board for florida’s waves.
