It would be great to hear Reno’s story. He was a super surfer in the late 60’s and 70’s.
Reno is alive and well just north of Ensenada. He surfed with us in the WindanSea contest over Thanksgiving last year in San Miguel and is still shaping and surfing at a very high level.

Not a dark green like you were looking for but any ideas can be helpful.
This is a crazy epoxy swirl (sorta) that I did awhile back. I was going for the “mexican blanket” look on the bottom, didn’t turn out exactly as planned. The deck was supposed to be a sunburst, the effect came out a little off, but I still thought the board looked cool. Its always fun to play with tints. I’ve started doing balsa compsand boards, I want to do a resin tint or swirl over the balsa and see how it comes out. Anyone tried that already?
